Knowledgeable Care for Sacroiliac Joint Pain

When you visit Full Motion Wellness and Rehab, you'll work with a team of care providers with more than 23 years of experience in treating sacroiliac joint pain. We use state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment techniques to help you find lasting relief from pain and discomfort.

Your sacroiliac joints are located on each side of your spine. They shift the load of your upper body onto your lower legs, and they can become irritated or inflamed. When that happens, you may experience pain in your lower back or buttocks after standing up from a sitting position.

  • Hypermobility — You'll feel pain in your lower back that may transfer into your groin.
  • Hypomobility — You'll feel pain in one buttock (usually not both) and the pain usually remains above the leg.

Sacroiliac joint pain is most often caused by a sports injury, although other triggers are possible. At Full Motion Wellness and Rehab, we can do a complete diagnosis and recommend an effective course of chiropractic care. Call our office today to schedule your appointment.

Typical Treatments for Sacroiliac Joint Conditions

Most sacroiliac conditions are caused by factors that respond well to chiropractic techniques and treatment. We'll provide chiropractic manipulation and physical therapy. We'll also show you treatments that you can perform at home, including applying heat and/or ice, resting, and exercise. If a support or brace would be helpful, we can provide it.

We strive to provide natural solutions, but we've found that in some cases, medication is necessary. If we find an infection or cause that falls outside of chiropractic care, we'll recommend an appropriate medical provider.
